Albertina Kerr is looking for an inspiring retail Program Coordinator with a keen ability to motivate mature, capable volunteers. The Program Coordinator provides supervision and oversight of volunteers working within a retail environment to generate revenues and positive net income contributions to support Kerr's mission. This position oversees sales, donations of merchandise, promotion of Albertina's Place internally and externally, and financial controls and processes working with Kerr staff as appropriate.

The successful candidate will preferably have an Associate's Degree in Business, or some closely related field, along with at least 2 years of supervisory retail experience. The candidate will also be expected to have demonstrated knowledge of collectible and thrift shop products, operations and merchandising, as well as a familiarity with business budgets. Strong communication (written and verbal) in an environment that requires good judgement in managing interactions with established volunteers, customers and non-profit staff. Experience in coordinating daily workflow, project activity, flexibility to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, tasks and deliverables are being met, and follow-up on action items. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft programs, have a familiarity with the use of social media tools in order to enhance brand and customer outreach. Must be able to lift and carry boxes (approximately 50 lbs.), as well as the ability to move and maneuver retail equipment. Typical Monday through Friday, 5-day/week position with some Saturday hours. Generous benefits package, hourly pay range $17.50 to $19.00, dependent upon experience.
