Please specify Location desired on Application The Medical Assistant, Certified is responsible for clerical/reception/clinical support and assisting in the provision of care to imaging patient. This position works closely with the physicians, other clinical staff, and front office staff. Work situations are a variety of clinical and clerical functions which requires knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude.  Interviews patients, measures and records information in patient charts. Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas. This position may also responsible for disposal of biohazard materials. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within an imaging center. Relies on limited judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.  Essential Job Functions: Clinical Are Responsibilities: Keep clinical spaces and supplies orderly and ready to use. Check room and drawers daily and stock as needed. Maintain supplies in storage area. Prepare rooms at beginning of each day and according to patient exams. Close rooms at the end of day (i.e. wipe exam room tables, surfaces, equipment and counters with sanicoth). Stock forms and patient information materials; order materials when needed. Package lab specimens and put in central location for pick ups. Prepare patient charts: Acquire all pertinent medical records from referring providers, hospitals, outside imaging facilities, including obtaining all prior imaging studies. May administer IV injections for diagnostic agents under the direct, visual supervision . May administer non-iodinated contrast. May administer single-dose or dose-calculated medication (no schedule III-V controlled substance). May perform capillary blood withdrawal, venipunctures, intradermal sulpcutaneous, and intramuscular injections-Istats. Assist and set up Steril Procedures   Patient Flow: Anticipate the needs of patients and clinicians. Update the IR body calendar every morning. Making sure all appointments and procedures are on it. Perform vital signs and initial assessment. Make sure paperwork is in order on patients having annual exams, patients who are new to TRA, and other patients as determined with the clinician. Document appropriate information in RIS, PACS, Epic and Elysium. Perform physical exam preliminaries. Schedule appointments and arrange follow up visits when indicated. Perform other work as assigned.

TRA-MINW is seeking a Full-time Ultrasound Technologist. Technologist must perform sonography functions, in accordance with departmental protocols, as wells as adhering to ARDMS standards and ethics. Candidate will accurately implement the orders of the referring physician, and work with the ultrasound team to provide General, OB, Vascular and Breast Imaging services. Knowledge and experience with Pediatric Ultrasound is required. Candidate must have knowledge of PACS and Radiology Information Systems as it pertains to the patient’s exam. ARDMS Registered technologist with Registries in Abdomen and OB. Breast Registry and vascular imaging are a plus. 3 years prior experience required.   Essential Job Functions: Provides patient care in accordance with the mission statement of the company. Prepares patient for ultrasound exam with thorough explanation of the procedures and clear instructions. Obtains a thorough patient history as it relates to the exam to be completed. Accurately implements the orders of the referring physician. Able to perform examinations of the Abdomen, Pelvis, OB, Small Parts & Vascular structures with accuracy. Able to present ultrasound examinations to the Radiologist in a professional precise manner. Able to perform examinations in a timely manner Completes Modality Worksheet with accurate information for the Radiologist Maintains high standards regarding the accurate recording of patient information Present high quality ultrasound images and pertinent patient history to radiologist for interpretation. Utilizes accurate written and oral communications with patients, physicians, co-workers and supervisors. Utilizes exemplary customer service skills with patient and family members. Performs necessary computer functions associated with patient exam. Includes PACS. Keeps work area and patient exam areas neat and stocked with appropriate supplies. Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel Maintains a professional demeanor with confidentiality Is prompt and efficient with minimal absences Cooperates and maintains good rapport with co-workers to ensure proper patient care and efficient workflow. Understands and adheres to the role of the Ultrasound Modality Specialist. Able to travel to other TRA-MINW offices. (Tacoma, Lakewood & Olympia) Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Performs all other duties as assigned.
