The current logo, uniform, menu and ambiance are all very similar to what existed in the original store. This lack of change is understandable given the tremendous success the Hooters concept has enjoyed. Hooters has continued to rank high amongst the industry's growth leaders. During the last decade, growth in the computer, telecommunications, consumer and industrial electronics markets has increased demand for advanced chips. The Semiconductor Industry Association estimates that worldwide semiconductor sales totaled $227 billion in 2005 and are expected to grow to $309 billion in 2008. In order to increase the speed and decrease the cost of chips, semiconductor manufacturers have continuously pursued advancements in manufacturing technologies, including the use of smaller chip elements, new materials and larger 300mm wafers. These advancements in chip manufacturing have led to increasing challenges in the design, production and test of chips.

Educational Service District 112 is one of nine statutory regional service agencies in the state of Washington. Golden Specialty Consulting was the first of currently only a few source testing companies in the nation to achieve interim accreditation following ASTM D-7036 for source testing.
All of the Project Managers that are the core of the testing organization are Qualified Source Testing Individuals (QSTI), with all but one currently holding proficiency in all four recognized areas.
Out of our Gulf Coast corporate headquarters, Golden Specialty Consulting has conducted all of British Petroleum’s Compliance and RATA work since 1999, including sites that were sold to Innovene and Ineos, that Golden continues to maintain. Golden Gulf Coast provides emission testing support to seven of the ten largest refineries in Texas. A specialty of the Gulf Coast office is CEMS RATAs and support services using Golden’s redundant analyzer systems. Golden’s recognized expertise in Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) projects is based out of this office.
Our Midwest office specializes in providing source testing services to the ethanol production industry. We have tested at plants in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota for a range of pollutants from particulate matter using EPA Method 5/202 and 5/OTM 28, to gaseous pollutants SO2, NOx, CO, and VOC using EPA Methods 6C, 7E, 10, and 25A respectively. We have also performed significant testing for speciated hazardous air pollutants, employing EPA Method 18 and FTIR following EPA Method 320. PEMS development support is also an important component of the testing work done in the Midwest.
Golden’s Pacific Northwest office, started in the spring of 2008. The three employees that started up this office are former employees of a Pacific Northwest source testing company with a cumulative source testing experience background of over 50 years. These testers have performed thousands of RATA and compliance source tests of almost every applicable method for a wide variety of industries throughout the western United States and Alaska. These projects ranged from simple Method 5 tests at asphalt plants to weeks long projects involving as many as 10 source testers, a wide variety of simultaneous methods and as many as 50 sources at a newsprint mill.
The Mid-Atlantic regional office is home to Mr. James Guenthoer. Jim brings 32 years of continuous source testing experience to Golden’s projects. The main focus of the Mid Atlantic office is to bring Golden’s ASTM D 7036 accredited source testing services to the electric power industry in the region. That office’s emphasis now includes support for the Boiler, Process Heater, and CISWI Clean Air Act section 114 testing program.

Wally Rodland joined the firm in 1935 to pump gas and wash cars. He worked his way through every job in the firm, finally acquiring ownership in 1962. That same year, his son Buzz began pumping gas and washing cars. He too worked every job in the firm and has been President since 1985.

On August 3, 1890, two members of the fledgling Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace left their convent in Newark, New Jersey, bound for Fairhaven, Washington, a remote logging community in the country's far northwest corner. Their charge: to build a hospital to care for loggers, mill workers, fisherman and their families. The opening of St. Joseph hospital ushered in more than a century of Catholic health care ministry in the Pacific Northwest by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace and their lay colleagues. The order's Foundress, Mother Francis Clare, an activist Irish nun whose reformist zeal often put her at odds with Church hierarchy, became internationally known for her work and writing on behalf of women and the poor.
By 1916, the spirit that defined and launched the health care ministry in Fairhaven had grown to include five hospitals in Washington, Alaska, and British Columbia; in 1936 it reached Oregon as well. In the early 1970s, the Sisters decided to form a separate structure to oversee their hospital services in order to more effectively meet the challenges of contemporary health care and partner with qualified laypersons that shared in this important work. The name of the organization was changed to PeaceHealth in 1994 to better reflect the mission and heritage. In March 1997, the health system Board of Trustees received the status as a Private Pontifical Juridic Person to ensure the continuation of the healing ministry as a Catholic health system under lay leadership in service to the communities.
To this day, the religious community remains committed to its Foundress's vision of achieving peace through social justice in its life and ministries. The Sisters have entrusted to their lay colleagues the important mission of carrying on the healing mission of Jesus through exceptional medicine and healing in a gracious and compassionate manner to all those come to PeaceHealth for care.

EagleView was founded by Dave Carlson and Chris Pershing. In 2006 Dave, a second generation roofer, was running operations and sales for a roofing company in Los Angeles and Chris was a software developer in Seattle. Dave got tired of climbing on roofs in 100 degree weather trying to accurately measure roofs by throwing a tennis ball tied to a cloth tape measure across the roof. With Dave's experience in roofing and Chris' software engineering background, the two entrepreneurs joined together to pioneer a revolutionary software-based system utilizing satellite and aerial imaging to create detailed roofing measurements. After filing the right patents and spending more than a year in development, Dave and Chris formally launched the business in February of 2008 delivering the first remote aerial roof measurement reports in history! The idea immediately caught on and spread like wild fire. First to roofers all over the country and then quickly to insurance companies and adjustors. By the time the company was less than a year old, they had already grown to become the industry standard in aerial roof measurements.
It is not often that you get to create an industry. As founders, both Dave and Chris are still actively involved in the company today. Chris runs the technology team and Dave is in charge of roofing sales.
EagleView Software
At first the idea was to create measurement software that was at least as accurate as a manual measurement. Over the years the software has grown into a suite of tools. After filing 5 additional patents some covering the unique way that EagleView calculates precise pitches, the software evolved to an accuracy level that is beyond any original expectations. In the 1960s the VHA assumed the primary role we still hold today, providing subsidized housing for low-income families, elderly, and disabled people. As a low-income housing provider, we have partnered with various community groups along the way, resulting in the creation of Columbia Non-Profit Housing in 1981 and the Council for the Homeless in 1989.
In the early 1990s the VHA became a diversified housing authority by purchasing our first Workforce Housing property. As we continue to serve extremely low-income families, elderly, and disabled people, investing in workforce housing and community development allows the VHA to reduce our dependence on federal funding sources and meet local policy goals.

PKIDs (Parents of Kids with Infectious Diseases) started in 1996 when some parents couldn't find babysitters, playmates, or even many relatives willing to spend time with their children. Fear and ignorance of hepatitis B and C and HIV make people do such things.
The search for parents sharing their situation turned up no formal organization, but they did find lots of other moms and dads searching. Consequently, PKIDs incorporated as a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit in 1997.
As a pediatric organization, we fill a void in the nonprofit world and work with many national groups as the children's representative. We believe that much can be done when groups work together and we initiate and/or support such undertakings.
We encourage global childhood immunizations, using standard precautions in daily living, research to find cures for hepatitis B and C and HIV, prevention of the spread of infectious disease and elimination of fear of those living with these diseases through the education of kids and adults. Toward that end, we're constantly working to find creative projects that will change risky behaviors, illuminate minds and ensure the good health of children.

In the south line, six round-trips run between Tacoma Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent, Tukwila and downtown Seattle; a future extension south to Lakewood is under development.
Tacoma Link light rail trains began running in downtown Tacoma in 2003 and ridership quickly exceeded expectations. Construction on the nearly 16-mile Link light rail line between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac International Airport is nearly complete with vehicle testing underway and passenger service starting this year. A light rail extension north to the University of Washington is scheduled to begin in late 2008, with service starting in 2016.
On Nov. 4, 2008, voters in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties approved a mass transit expansion proposal that will add 36 miles of light rail to the system that is opening in July, 2009.
